In Kindergarden, kids should learn how to read, write, learn letters, numbers and basic words, possibly addition if everything else is perfect
In first grade, learn more complicated but still easier words, learn addition and practice, read small books
In second grade, learn addition with bigger numbers, start to learn to type, does small research projects, starts to learn a language - either Spanish or French
In fifth grade, practices all math and learns basics about shapes, learns about religious history, reads a few books and does projects on them, learns about space
In seventh grade, takes pre-algebra, learns African and Asian history, small amount of American politics, learns about Israel/Palestinian conflict, reads a few classic novels, learns all about the basics of the Earth (Earth, Wind, Fire, Water)
In eighth grade, writes a few essays and reads many novels, learn about US history, takes algebra 1, learns about mass/density/volume/dissolving
In high school and college, they can choose to learn whatever they want
